Release: December 09, 1965

Christmas time is here. And despite the fluffy snow, Christmas lights, and holiday spirit all around him, Charlie Brown feels numb to it. Maybe it's because everyone seems to see Christmas as a time to get, get, get. Snoopy enters a Christmas lights and display contest to win money. Sally asks Santa Claus for tens and twenties. And Lucy wishes Santa Claus would give her Real Estate. Still...it's Lucy of all people that tries to help Charlie Brown by making him the director of the Christmas play. But all Charlie Brown can seem to do is struggle as all the actors completely ignore him. Christmas is almost completely lost on Charlie when he cries out " Isn't there anyone who can tell me what Christmas is all about!??" That is when Linus tells Charlie about the true meaning of Christmas, which super charges Charlie into a state of Christmas joy.
