Fuck (styled as FUCK, F★CK, or F*CK; alternatively titled Fuck: A Documentary and The F-Bomb: A Documentary) is a 2005 documentary film by director Steve Anderson which argues that the word "fuck" is an integral part of societal discussions about freedom of speech and censorship. The film looks at the term from topical perspectives (including art, linguistics, politics, society and comedy), beginning with a segment from the 1965 propaganda film Perversion for Profit. It features commentary from a variety of individuals, including Kevin Smith, Steven Bochco, Janeane Garofalo, Chuck D., Ron Jeremy, Bill Maher, Michael Medved, Alan Keyes, Judith Martin, Drew Carey, Alanis Morissette, Ice T, Pat Boone and Billy Connolly. Scholarly analysis is provided by academics, including linguist Reinhold Albert Aman, journalism analyst David Shaw and other language experts.
