A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Release: November 20, 1973

It's Thanksgiving, and Charlie Brown and Sally are invited to their grandmother's house for dinner. Unfortunately, Peppermint Patty invites herself to their house, along with Marcie and their friends. Snoopy is in charge of cooking, but Peppermint Patty is horrified at what he cooked and thought Charlie did so: toast, pretzel sticks, popcorn, and other things. Marcie sees how she feels, and comes to Charlie's rescue. He thinks he can invite everyone else to his grandmother's house, and the day is saved!

Linus: "What are you gonna do on Thanksgiving Charlie Brown?"
Charlie Brown: "My mother, dad, Sally & I are going over to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving Dinner."
Sally: "Why don't you come along Linus? We can hold hands under the table!"

Peppermint Patty: "Hey Charles, how does that song go?(singing) "Over the river and through the woods, To Grandmother's House we go!""
Eevrybody: "(singing)The horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh, through the white and drifted snow."
Charlie Brown: "Yes but there's just one problem with that song. My grandmother lives in a condominium."
Peppermint Patty: ""What kind of a Thanksgiving dinner is this? Where's the turkey, Chuck? Don't you know anything about Thanksgiving dinners? Where's the mashed potatoes? Where's the cranberry sauce? Where's the pumpkin pie?" -Peppermint Patty"
Charlie Brown: "I can't cook a Thanksgiving dinner. All I can make is cold cereal and maybe toast."
Linus: "Hmm--that's right. I've seen you make toast. You can't butter it, but maybe we can help you."
Sally: "I went down to the store to buy a turkey tree, and all they have are things for Christmas!"
Charlie Brown: "For Christmas? Already?"
Charlie Brown: "We've got *another* holiday to worry about. It seems Thanksgiving Day is upon us. -Charlie Brown"
Sally: "Why don't you come along, Linus? We could hold hands under the table. -Sally"
