*WARNING: FOR REAL DISNEY FANS!!! :D

For decades Disney has been able to capture our hearts and bring magic into our lives! They have been responsible for some of the most innovative and spectacular movies, TV shows and many other things for most of my life and I know for many others on this site as well! This will be hard to put into a Top 10 but not impossible! LOL! Well enough rambling! Here is Disneyfan886's Top 10 Disney Animated movies!!!

Number 10- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

I will begin with the one that started it all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! This movie came out way before I was born but I remember watching it as a child in the early 90's and felt like it was from my time. It is such a sweet, romantic movie and the Dwarfs just make it even better! Plus it started the animated musical genre so without this movie we wouldn't have had the rest of the beautiful animated movies of our time! That's why this is my number 10!

Number 9- The Jungle Book (1967)

Now, I remember watching this movie several times as a child and I did get it when it came out in the Platinum Edition recently. This movie has the lovable Baloo, the serious Bagheera and the evil Shere Khan who all made this movie a classic. It has some very catchy songs as well especially "The Bare Necessities" and "I Wan'na Be Like You" performed by the late Phil Harris and Louis Prima, respectively. And then there's Mowgli, the "man-cub" who was raised by wolves and befriends a bear. This movie was so adventurous for me as a lil boy! That's why it's my number 9!

Number 8- Mulan (1998)

I'm an 80's baby and I grew up in the 90's so from this point on all you will see are the Disney animated movies from the 80's and 90's!
Anyhoo, Mulan was a great movie! It had music and adventure, two of my favorite elements in an animated film preferably in that order. Mulan was a very different movie for Disney as well. It was also one of the last ones to be a musical and one of the last ones for the company, for a time, to be successful in the box office. That's why Mulan is my number 8!

Number 7- Pocahontas (1995)

Pocahontas was another great Disney film, made for the older kids. It was loosely based on the life of Pocahontas and made into a romantic animated movie. It had awesome music like "Colors of the Wind" and "Just Around the Riverbend". It was a different film for Disney since it was the first movie where the heroine wasn't a princess and wasn't intentionally looking for love. It was a very good movie nonetheless that is why its my number 7!

Number 6- Hercules (1997)

Now Hercules was such a great animated movie! It was a very entertaining and the first gospel influenced Disney film! I really love the songs in this movie especially "I Won't Say I'm In Love" sung by the lonely and bitter Megara. This movie has some geniune characters like Hercules and the there's the evil but hillarious Hades and his two dumb sidekicks, Pain and Panic. Hercules was a very lovable film and I can't wait until it gets a special edition in the near future! Well that is why its my number 6!

Number 5- The Fox And The Hound (1981)

This movie is very special to me! One of my favorites! It was from my decade and I remember I use to watch it so many times as a child! I just loved it! Cooper and Tod wanted to be friends so bad and others wouldn't let them be. It was a very touching movie at times and funny at others. But the part at the end when Cooper defends Tod is just such a goosebump moment! Lol A very good, underrated movie! That's why it is my numero 5!

Number 4- The Lion King (1994)

Now many kids of my time would have this movie as their number 1 Disney movie but not I. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy this movie but it wasn't as big for me as it was to others. This movie, nonetheless, had catchy music as it is heard in the songs "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". It also had some of the best animal characters that Disney ever created like Simba, Scar, and Timon and Pumbaa. The Lion King was also the peak of the Disney Renaissance and still holds the record as the highest grossing traditionally animated film in history. It's one of the best! That is why it is my number 4!

Number 3- Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Tale as old as time, indeed! A beautiful tale of love is Beauty and the Beast! It was a major movie for Disney and as you can tell one of my favorites. It has enchanting music, intriguing characters and wonderful scenery. The Beast is so scary and yet so lovable by the end of the movie and then there's that concieted Gaston, what a jerk! All in all this movie was an enchanting tale of romance! That's why Beauty and the Beast is my pick for number 3!

Number 2- The Little Mermaid (1989)

I love the Little Mermaid. How I so wanted to be part of her world. LOL! This movie was another one I couldn't get enough from when I was younger and I still find myself watching it often nowadays! It has great characters as well. Ariel is so naive yet so beautiful and her friends Sebastian and Flounder just add greatness to this movie! But I have to say that one of my favorite characters has to be the caniving Ursula. I love that Sea Witch! The songs here are probably the catchiest songs Alan Menken has composed. "Under the Sea", "Kiss the Girl", and " Poor Unfortunate Souls", I love em all! Great songs, fabulous characters and what's better than being under the sea as a child! That's why The Little Mermaid is my number 2!

And my number 1 favorite Disney animated film is....

Number 1- Aladdin (1992)

This is my favorite Disney movie! I use to watch this movie more than all the others as a child. Maybe because it was the only Disney VHS I had but it was ultimately the magic it brought to my life. Through songs that are so special to me up to this day like "A Whole New World", probably my favorite Disney song, and others like "Friend Like Me" and "Prince Ali". It also had characters that I could relate to and love forever! The likeable Alladin, the disgustingly evil Jafar and the quick talking Genie. I also loved Princess Jasmine. This movie is one major part of my childhood that is why Alladin is my NUMBER 1!!!
