It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Release: October 27, 1966

Linus seems to be the only one who believes in the magic of a Great Pumkin who chooses the most sincere pumpkin patch in the world to rise out of and spread gifts to good little boys and girls all over the world. To all the other kids, Linus is out of his "gord". But that doesn't deter Linus. Linus sacrifices tricks, treats and a fun halloween party to come face to face with The Great Pumpkin. But there is one person who believes young Linus. The one person with a hopeless crush over him, young Sally.

Linus: "I'm doomed. One little slip like that could cause the Great Pumpkin to pass you by. Oh, Great Pumpkin, where are you?"
Linus: "[Lucy scoops out the innards of the pumpkin] Linus: Ohh. You didn't tell me you were gonna kill it!"
Lucy Van Pelt: "Thank you, Charlie Brown. You made an excellent model."
Charlie Brown: "Oh brother. When are you going to stop believing in something that isn't true?"
Linus: "When YOU stop believing in that fat guy in a red suit and the white beard who goes, "Ho, ho, ho!""
Linus: "There he is! There he is! It's the Great Pumpkin! He's rising out of the pumpkin patch!"
Linus: "Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker."
Linus: "I've learned there are three things you don't discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin."
Lucy Van Pelt: "Alright alright! Let's bob for apples! This is the way you do it."
Schroeder: "Yeah Lucy! You should be good at this! You got the perfect mouth for it!"
Linus: "Well, that's nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of trick-or-treats."
Charlie Brown: "I had a little trouble with the scissors..."
Charlie Brown: "I got a rock."
Sally: "You Blockhead!"
Sally: "You Blockhead!"
