The former daily news and talk show on CBS. Designed as a competitior to ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today, the show debuted in 1999 replacing the original version of "CBS This Morning". It was originally hosted by Bryant Gumbel and Jane Clayson, who achieved notoriety after her confrontation with Martha Stewart during her stock cheating scandal. The show had more of a focus on hard news than its two competitors who had a mix of news, talk, and infotainment. It was cancelled in early 2012 and replaced with a revival of CBS This Morning.
