Flash Gordon
Release: December 15, 1980
Release: December 15, 1980

If you want your share of glorious comic book cheese, watch this film. It's like eating Salt and Vinegar potato chips. You aren't sure why, but you enjoy it. This film comes complete with a fantastic super cheesey theme by Queen "Flash, awaaaaw, he'll save every one of us." You'll want to feather your hair, spray it down with aqua net, and clad yourself in outdated hero garb when you're done watching this film.

I love this movie as nostalgia and for its campiness but hate it for not doing justice to the Flash Gordon material. i also love it for starring one of the best movie versions of doctor doom\'s costume yet ha ha ha

The funny part about this movie is that it was made in this \"in-between\" period in Hollywood. It was the end of \'70s style film-making, but wasn\'t quite the polished, stylized film-making of the \'80s. A serious cult-classic, I love it.

talk about tight budget, this was one of the most low budget classics out there. i think it\'s the crappy scenery and visual effects that makes this movie that much more appreciative. i mean, come on, it goes so well with the cheap sound effects too. the soundtrack, however, was not bad at all. thanks to Queen, the movie rocked full throttle. also, it\'s a great album to fall asleep to.
