Reform School Girls
Release: August 22, 1986

"Reform School Girls" is a spoof of women-in-prison movies. It centers around a young woman named Jenny, who has been sent to Pridemore (a women's prison) for her part in a crime, despite the fact that she was framed. Along the way, she meets a young woman named Lisa (Sherri Stoner), who has a stuffed animal and a frightened soul. In jail, the two tangle with the fascist Warden Sutter (Sybil Danning), the overweight authoritarian Edna (Pat Ast), and the rough-and-tumble Charlie Chambliss (Wendy O. Williams). It's by turns funny and disturbing. If you like nudity and violence (and who doesn't?), I recommend this movie. It's also great for cartoon fans, because it contains one of Stoner's only substantial live-action roles before her animated work with Disney and Warner Brothers.
