City Boy, known in Japanese as Showa Aho Soushi Akanuke Ichiban (昭和アホ草紙あかぬけ一番!, lit. Showa Era Idiot Story Book: Most Refined) is a Japanese shoujo slice-of-life comedy manga serialized in Shueisha Margaret from 1985-87 by Yuu Azuki. It was adapted into an anime series by Tatsunoko Production and aired on TV Asahi from October 7, 1985 to March 24, 1986, lasting 22 episodes. Kojiro comes to Tokyo from a distant village. In spite of his good nature, he's constantly making mistakes. But an alien prince presents him with a "Miracle Belt," which gives him supernatural powers. Afterwards, his actions are admired by everyone.
