Child of Glass
Release: January 01, 1981

The Armsworth family moves into an old mansion, and soon son Alexander (Steve Shaw) meets the ghost of a little girl named Inez (Olivia Barash) and her puppy. With the help of his new friend Blossom (Katy Kurtzman), Alex tries to help lift a curse that was put on Inez by the pirate who killed her. The film first appeared as one of Disney's movies of the week, and it showed up a few years later on the Disney Channel, where it continued to get occasional airing until the turn of the century. Like many of the films that Disney released from this era ("Watcher in the Woods," "Mr. Boogedy," etc), "Child of Glass" is darker than your normal Disney fare. The movie was released on home video in the early 80s, but the tape's long out of print and copies now sell at online auction sites for obscene prices.
