Rita Rizzoli (Whoopi Goldberg) was once a drug addict. After her young daughter died of an overdose when getting into her stash, Rizzoli decided to retool her life. She's now a police officer who is dealing with the newest drug to hit the streets, a deadly type of cocaine called "Fatal Beauty". Rizzoli is ready to clean up the streets, but her new love interest Mike Marshak (Sam Elliot) might throw a spanner into the works.
