What do you think were the best, most underrated and worst videogames of 2006?
Here are my opinions:
Best game of 2006: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Teams (GBA/DS)
Pokémon action and adventure all the way! This time, the Pokémon can talk!
Most Underrated game of 2006: Family Guy (Xbox/PSP)
Despite the bad reviews I have seen for it, this game is a lot of fun; The controls are easy to get to grips with, the levels are challenging and the humor is OUTRAGEOUS! Easily the Xbox's last hurrah!
Worst game of 2006: Dora the explorer: Dora's world adventure (GBA)
Stop pestering me Dora, I am ****ing sick of you! When will Dora's reign of Terror stop?

Best would be God Of War, because of its amazing gameplay, good graphics, great storyline, and voice acting!! or Guitar Hero, because of the innovation and the use of the guitar...and the song sets were pretty good as well.
Overrated.... ill get back to ya on that one!! :P
Worst: i would say Naruto Clash of Ninja(Gamecube). it got terrible reviews from what i saw and when i played it, it was just "ehhh".. im a hardcore Naruto fan and it didnt do anything for me!!!

best game for me was probably dead rising
most underated i think is red steel a game that got awful reviews but i had a blast playing none the less good graphics simple story and fps sure controls weren't great but once you got used to them very fun game.
and worst hmm im not sure the worst game i played this year didnt come out this year it was superman for nintendo 64 probably the worst game ever made.

I have to agree.
Most underrated game: Fighting Spirit: Victorious Boxers 2, aka Hajime no Ippo: All Stars. This is the best boxing game ever. If you like boxing and anime, go out and pick up a copy, it's only 10 bucks.

Yes, because it's been totally established by now that all Xbox and PS games have no storyline or gameplay whatsoever. :roll: Why is it people's instinct to hate any game that isn't on their favorite system? Wii has some real stinkers too you know.

of 2006, i liked the godfather. retro feel if you grew up with the movie, and nice game. definally worth renting at least.

Sorry, anyone who said "any game aimed at anyone under the age of 6" should be ashamed of him/herself. The games aren't aimed at you. You don't even have the right to critique it because your'e too old to be playing it. Anyway...no best or worst for me, but, underated, I want to say Diddy Kong Racing. Oh wait, worse for me would be Mortal Kombat 4. It was too easy.That was quite uncalled for. If that person's opinion is that it'sthe best game, then that person is entitled to it. There's no need to bash him/her. That aside, I've never played it, so I can't give a fair, unbiased opinion on it.

i love how these forums always end up in a console war of name calling some people are just a little to hardcore when it comes to defending there console. me i like the wii i dont bash the other ones since i like xbox 360 ps3 im sure will be good when they come out with an affordable price tag and some games that make you want to play.
