I remember The Jackson 5ive animated series as well.

Speaking of J5 tunes, the episode "Drafted" featured a rare, alternate mix of "I Want You Back" with more backing vocals and no string section. I realized this while watching it on TV Land Super Retrovision Saturdaze back in 1999...and to this very day regret not taping it!

Anyone got an audio clip (MP3) of this version?

Yeah I used to watch it sometimes when it aired on BET. It was ok to me, but it must've been popular back in the days, or maybe not  .

Donald Fullilove who did the speaking voice of Michael Jackson in this cartoon would play Goldie Wilson in "Back To The Future".

If memory serves me right, that medley was comprised of "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save" and "Mama's Pearl". Correct?

The intro and outro are here on RetroJunk. Technically, the word "Five" was spelled "5ive," so you're not likely to find it in a search:

                    http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/1247-the-jackson-5ive/

The show aired on ABC in the 70s, then again around 87. It later showed up on MTV & VH1 whenever they'd do their Michael Jackson themed weekends, and BET played it for a while.

There's an episode guide for the show here:

I remember watching reruns, they gave them the biggest teeth. Still love their music.
