Who here remembers Rudy Ray Moore aka Dolemite? I didn't hear about him until I saw a comedy special on HBO, I went out and rented several of his movies that he was in and bought quite a few of his party records on tape. For those who don't remember or have never seen or heard of him, here are a couple of websites on him.

Dolemite is one funny movie(especially since its considered serious).My favorite scene is the one where Dolemite is talking to a crackhead, that guy made me laugh so hard. Is the movie Human Hurricane a funny movie or is it a decent movie?
I've been meaning to see this...
I've seen Shaft, and that one with Isaac Hayes, but when I watched the "Great White Hype" and the boxer had to watch Dolemite to get pumped up before his match, I thought that was awesome.

You mean "The Human Tornado", and yes, it's as funny as Dolemite. And the crackhead Dolemite was talking is called, The Creeper. Also check out Rudy's other films as well.

The Human Tornado is my favorite Dolomite movie. My roommate and I bought the Dolomite box set in College, and we would spend many weeknights piling into someones dorm room with Cold 45s, getting drunk, watching Dolomite.
I love the part in the Human Tornado where he shoots a car with a shotgun and it explodes.

On MADtv there was a parody of Dolemite, but it sucked because it didn't have The Creeper and it didn't have funny fight scenes.
