I have never seen that intro before. It might have been a spoof for one episode...

Of course, there was Pinky, Elmyra and The Brain at one point, so I might be wrong.

Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain was actually a Completely Seperate Show and here is an Info Page about it on the Blast from the Past Tv Website.

I watch all of the pinky and the brain when it was on nickelodeon and I never seen larry in one of them before. so This is a fan made theme song opening.

The "...And Larry" opening was part of an episode which mocked the concept of adding new characters to shows that have been on the air for a few seasons. The concept of changing a show was explored better in the episode "You'll Never Eat Food Pellets In This Town Again", a brilliant episode that at the same time is confusing in its' use of meta-humor.

Yeah I've seen part of that episode, I think they used the alternate intro when it was on the WB network but never on Nickelodeon because they used the Nickelodeon logo all over it.

No it wasnt. It was a part of an episode that introduced supposed "new characters" like some shows do to boost rateings. see next quote:

If you watch the video you could tell that it is not a fan trailer, if it was the scenes with "Larry" wouldnt flow with the rest of the video. There would be stops, and choppy video.

I remember the episode. It was an episode that mocked changing a show by adding new characters, but it was also in its way a send-up/homage to The Three Stooges (why else do you think they named the guy Larry). The basic idea was that when you take the established dynamic between Brain/Moe (the smarter but belligerent one) and Pinky/Curly (the likable, silly, dumb one) with someone like Larry (who seems to have no overt purpose at all) you end up with what the Stooges usually had: lots of slapstick amongst the three of them and little else. They even joked about it further by having Larry leave at the end to be replaced by a character named Zeppo, which was the name of a seemingly useless member of the Marx Brothers.

I may be wrong but I think it's from an episode that they were doing a parody or the 3 stooges.
