Every year I got a few of things, promising myself I would keep all of my notes in there, in order, never lose or forget my hmework, etc. Somehow by late october I would always already be unorganized and out of order LOL so I think I was beyond help. I loved them but just was not capable of keeping them organized.

No way. The first couple days of class, maybe. But, by the end of the year, the folders inside the Trapper Keeper would all be flat and barely used at the bottom of a ginormous pile of crumpled homework assignments and tests from all different classes, vaguely in reverse chronological order.

Then we had certain teachers in jr high and highschool that would do periodic notebook checks to make sure you were taking the proper notes and that they were in order and you would get graded for them. Um yeah, I did NOT do well on those.

I was well-organized up until my senior year of high school.

Notebook checks were the easiest A's ever for me.

I went to a really, really, REALLY small highschool and fairly small jr high. I think it really just depended on the teacher. My Science teacher and my english teacher did them. It was horrible because while I was great at most parts of english class I was horribly disorganized. Then with Science I was horrible at the subject itself AND disorganized. He used to publicly ridicule my notebook.

The trapper keeper might actually do well for me now. I wish I had kept mine.

I bet that I would do better with one now as well actually. Now that I have even more important stuff to keep track of.

I would say that notebooks pretty well worked for me. I was always the organized type in high school so notebook checks were a breeze for me.

My Trapper Keeper did keep me organized in 6th grade, but I didn't have a lot of homework back then. In 7th and 8th grade my binders were pretty organized. In high school it was a school rule that every student had a binder with dividers in it. I use to get the dividers and never use them. i would just stuff all my work in 1 folder. I never saw the point of making a space in your binder for a class like P.E. In 10th grade my English teacher would check the English section of our binders. So I tried to keep that part neat. For my math classes we had to have a separate binder with dividers and organized notes. I took pride in my math binder since I could make up for points I lost on a bad test.

Math was my WORST subject but the cool thing about the teacher, was that he would give you points for doing the homework. Even if you had every single answer wrong, he would give you points for putting an effort in. I too desperatly needed those points.

I honestly have no problem when it comes to organization. The people that knew me in school always came to me when they wanted their stuff organized.
