No. I cant explain why because i dont know what words to use, but the Disney version ruined everything. I got used to the changes, but the show just felt too different and lost its Nickelodeon-like spirit...

I only started watching Doug after the disney one came out I think because I would always watch the original one but on all other channels besides Nickelodeon, it was the disney version. I was too young to know the difference except that I remember I hated the look of everything and the different voices. So, I would only watch Doug if it was the original.

now that i think about it...id say doug is the epitome of life.

its all fun and cool at first but a year later things change and begin to suck, then we look back at how things were better back then.

I actually didn't even notice that the show changed from Nick to Disney at the time, the only thing i did notice was the characters clothes were different but i just figured that since they were in highschool they changed clothes, shows change there intros from time to time and i didn't really notice back then or care, i'd watch Doug no matter unless of course it was remade in cgi form.

Disney did a fantastic job at raping the good name of Doug.

And they also made an awesome case for The Worst Movie Ever Made with Doug's First Movie. If it weren't for Disaster Movie, Disney's Doug movie would be on the top of the list.

I never really caught on to the Disney version; I may've grown out of it when it first came out. I've seen bits of it, but not enough to say for sure...but I trust my RJ family when they say that for the most part, it stunk. :)

Well, I like both versions, but I like Nick's version better. I also watched Disney's version of the show first.

Nah, it just sucked. I was like 10 when this one came out. Everything that was good about the old Doug, they pretty much did the exact opposite.

If i rmember correctly, the Disney version played too much bgmusic. The thing i remember clearly was the Quailman segments. In the Disney version, he started talking pretentiously and would even get his own episodes. You know that part where they walk into the basement and turn on the light, it doesnt say "doug" it says Quailman. As for the nick version, he would just use his regular voice and every episode he would appear in would still be under the Doug title.

Disney's Doug basically ruined the whole show for me.

Disney version sucked so much ass. The first time I watched it I almost puked.

The original was awesome, although a few episodes sucked.

The new one was completely retarded, badly drawn, had bad writing, and had horrible voice acting.

                                  I hated it.

I liked both versions. I'm one of those people who like series where the characters actually age. Gives the series a bit of realism and allows some to relate to it.
