My favorite Addams would have to be Gomez from the 60's TV show and 90's movies. I didn't like the 2nd movie that much because it focused on Uncle Fester again. I thought the 90's TV remake (live action) was pretty good, though I've only seen a few episodes. Are you fan of the TV series, movies, or cartoons? Who's your favorite character?

No, there was a remake on Fox. I never really watched the cartoon.

I actually prefer the 90's TV remake. My kids starting watching it and I watched it with them and really liked it. I think they did a great job updating the series. My favorite character is Gomez - Nothing ever seems to bother him and he loves to have fun.

I love the movies. Christina Ricci is the PERFECT Wednesday Addams, she was born to play her. I actually enjoy the 2nd movie, the camp scenes never fail to crack me up.

I love both the movies and the classic T.V. show from the 60s. Uncle fester always cracked me up

              Exactly!
No matter what happened all around him, Gomez stayed cool and did it with style!

I vaguly remember the 90s Adam's Family remake, but I prefer the old sitcom, that and the cartoon. I'd definitely have to have a retake on the 90s one though.

I like all three of the major incarnations of the Addams Family. But I really love the original Charles Addams cartoons that all of it is based on.

I liked the 60's tv series the best, I used to see it weekday afternoons in reruns on CBC along with Taxi and WKRP. Morticia and Lurch the butler were my favorites. The Who never put it out on an album or as a bonus track but for a breif bit they did a song called You Rang? where John Entwistle would impersonate Lurch.

I grew up watching the 60s one but I LOVE the The Addams Family movies with Raul Julia. He was great. Hell I loved the 90s cartoon. I hated the Addams Family Reunion Tim Curry as Gomez..... :? god that was terrible and so was the New Addams Family series.

I was very lucky to catch the 1977 NBC Special "Halloween with the Addams Family". With the exception of grandma, the entire original cast made its last appearence on TV together. I was so pleased to see them all again that I didn't care that it was in color.

I remember that it was filmed in a real house and the family had a magnificent 1930's style Cadillac that they drove on camera. I'm sure it was that car that helped me remember this Special after all of these years.

John Astin (who played Gomez) is still living.

I thnk Edd was only referring to 1977 though. That was the last time they were all together (minus Grandmama, which is no surprise considering that the actress was born in the late 1800s). Anywho, everyone was still living, at that time.
