You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown

Sally seems to have a problem at school, she is too small to reach her locker, and is too frustrated about it to go back to school. With her show-and-tell project stuck inside, Sally decides to use Charlie Brown as her project. After an embarrassing ordeal for him, he notices that student body elections are coming up. Despite Linus telling Charlie Brown that he should run, Lucy sees Linus as a better contender, and asks him to run. Linus goes up against a student named Russell Anderson, and despite taking an early lead in the polls, Linus may find himself slipping up when he mentions a certain orange holiday figure...

Lucy: "I have the results of my poll! ...You'll never be elected, Charlie Brown. You have no way of winning. No way."

Linus: "It's depressing to think there are students who don't believe in the Great Pumpkin."

Lucy: "I have a question for you."
Caller: "Yes?"
Lucy: "What is your question?"
Caller: "What?"
Lucy: "What is your question?!"
Caller: "Oh my gosh! I forgot what the question was!"

Linus: "Rather than campaign talk, I decided to say a few words about the Great Pumpkin!"
Charlie Brown & Lucy: "Augh!"
Linus: "Halloween night will soon be upon us, and on Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch and brings toys to all the good little children!"

Linus: "I'm sorry, but I will not be able to meet with the school board. They meet at 8:00 and I go to bed at 7:30."

Sally: "I've been looking at that sign every day this week and I finally know what it means: It means that the bus holds fifty kids! Each kid has two feet, right? 100 feet means the bus holds fifty kids!"
