Before I found this site, I'd been watching my tapes of Whose Line Is It Anyway and very few other shows. Retrojunk had inspired me to dust off my many old tapes of shows and cartoons that I was able to record before they were cancelled. Now, I watch my old tapes everyday and I haven't watched most them in years. Plus, I've been watching old shows and cartoons that I didn't record, online. Since this site has old ads, I could pause the tv-links video when the show goes into its commercial break, and watch the commercials from here.

For example, on Saturdays, I can watch the original Saturday nicktoon lineup: Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Doug, and Rugrats. Then, I'll watch the 1996 Snick lineup: Kenan & Kel, All That, *random show, since I didn't record Mystery Files of Shelby Woo*, and Kablam!. With my tapes combined with tv-links, that's a whole Saturday Nickelodeon 5:30-10:00 lineup. And thanks to this site, I have the 90s commercials in between. I always watch the Snick opening that this site has before I watch Kenan & Kel.

How about you?

I've become more in tune with my '80s self (even though i was like 4). I find myself wanting to play outside and have sleep overs with my friends. It has made me want to create a "dream childhood" for my children

I'm definitely more intrigued as to what I've forgotten about that resurfaces.

I'm also not addicted to myspace anymore. Thanks RJ! *thumbs up*

I've gotten back in touch with my childhood, and this site inspired me to hook back up the old Genesis back up too :)

Oh, and since 've been spending all my time here, life has gone down the drain. I've gained 30 pounds, went up two pant sizes, had to go to the eye doctor countless times, and have lost any and all social life that I ever had.

But hey, at least I can study up for next year's World Series of Pop Culture right here!!! THANKS RETRO JUNK!!!!!!!!

Your baby basically owes he/she's existance to RJ.

I think that would be badass to tell my friends that my parents met on this website.

If my husband and I have kids, they'll technically owe their existance to... myspace. =(

It actually brings back memories of things that I've forgotten (or blocked out *coughE.Tcough*) and make me nostalgic.

I think this site has changed me a lot. There have been times where I have reminisced about my childhood, but not with the passion that this website has given me. I now think of my childhood with more fondness and happiness - I do not take my good childhood memories for granted anymore.

This site has encouraged me to find and watch all my old cartoons and movies that I have on tape. It has also encouraged me to write about my feelings on many different childhood subjects, such as video games, Winnie the Pooh, The Little Mermaid, and 'antiquing' at the Writer's Corner part of this website, and share them with all of you (as well as on the messageboards).

But, most of all, this website has gotten me to start garage saling almost every weekend this summer, looking for video tapes to complete my collections of cartoons, nice jewelry, and Care Bears. Before finding this website, I didn't like garage saling. I thought it was a waste of time, and for cheap people. Boy was I WRONG!! Now I love finding great bargains from the past on sale, talking to people from my community, and finding things that I never knew existed (like CD's of different music groups I'd never heard of).

Because of this web site, I now have the opportunity to find out more about the 80s and 90s culture that I grew up in and to honor it accordingly.

                          Thank you RJ!

I met some really good friends here, given me reasons to go all over America now.

Also I would never have known the great reaper, he has changed my life forever
