yeah, this was a good show. i grew up in Indiana (boo, i know), and i remember thinking that it was really cool and that other cities (possibly mine) could be like that, too

Yeah, I loved it. But I remember getting pissed off several times, because I think it came on either Sunday, or Monday nights. And it was on a network that showed football games. So if the game ran long, or went into overtime or something, it got pre-empted. I remember it was once not showed 3 weeks in a row because of football games running long. These days I would probably be more pissed if they cut away from a football game to show some television show. After the "Heidi Bowl" back in the 1968 they are contractually obligated to show games to their conclusion, no matter the score.

For those of you who don't know what the "Heidi Bowl" is, it was a game between the Raiders and Jets, the Jets leading with only 65 seconds left. NBC decided that the game was over, and cut to the regularly scheduled made for T.V. movie "Heidi". Well in those 65 seconds The Raiders scored 14 points and won, it created a huge uproar among football fans. I know that has nothing to do with the show, but that game played back in 1968 resulted in me missing several episodes of Eerie Indiana.

My memory about the show is kind of bad though. I only remember one episode, even though I watched it every chance I had. The one I remember was the one where some kid died, and this girl takes on his personality, and she kept saying "Live fast, die young, have a good looking corpse". The girl was the little girl from Halloween 4 I think. Or was it 5, who cares, those movies sucked after 2.

I remember when it came on in the early 90's. When the boy had moved there, all sorts of weird things happened like Big Foot digging in his garbage and Elvis actually living next door.

I remember he used to get a Black Cow from the guy who played Gomez on Adams Family, and this kid named Snakes would make the situations worse. I guess he was kind of a villain.

Video may have killed the radio star, but reality crapfests killed the video.

the best episode was the one with the boy who got braces/headgear that could tune into what dogs were saying, they were planning to overthrow the humans and end up killing the kid

they had a new series years ago, but it wasnt as good--they did use footage of the two leads from the original series made to look like they were talking to the new leads through another dimension

NBC always preempted shows when they had football..always sucked but CBS always shows 60 Minutes in full after football maybe your talking about when NBC had AFC games and those games could be lenghty
