Young Jessica has only one wish for the holidays: she wants a mother. So a mysterious lady (Doris Roberts) helps grant her wish, and department store mannequin Amy (Olivia Newton-John) comes to life and joins Jessie and her family for the holidays. Soon, however, the jig may be up when a detective starts to investigate a missing mannequin. The film, which was Newton-John's triumphant return to celluloid, originally aired on "Disney's Night at the Movies," and continued to be rerun on The Disney Channel throughout the '90s. It was never officially released on video, and is now highly sought-after.
