Grinch:
"Maybe Christmas, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas means a little bit more."
The Grinch:
"How could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages boxes or bags!"
Narrator:
"But you know that old Grinch was so sly and so slick, he thought up a lie, and he thought it up quick!"
Grinch:
"Why, my sweet little tot. There's a light in this tree that won't light on one side, so I'm taking it up to my workshop, my dear! I'll fix it up there, then I'll bring it back here."
Singer:
"♪You're a rotter,… Mr. Grinch
You're the king of sinful sots♪"
The Grinch:
"[kisses somehow, before stealing the star at the top of the Lou-Who's tree using the ledder of the toy firetruck]"
Singer:
"♪Your heart's a dead tomato splotched
with moldy purple spots, Mr. Gri-iii-inch!♪"
Grinch:
"[rolls up the orange carpet of toys, two presents and horn that makes a noise, and throws it up the roof to his dog Max, with a added star]"
Singer:
"♪You're a three-decker sauerkraut and
toadstool sandwich,… with arsenic sa-aaa-auce!♪"
Max:
"[nervously walks the roll to the sleigh, and he gets out of the roll]"
The Grinch:
"[in his cave-made Santa suit] All I need is a reindeer."
Reader:
"The Grinch looked around, ["looked around" refers to Grinch staring at his reindeer antlers]
but since reindeer are scarce, there are none to be found.
Did that stop the Grinch?
[scoffs] Ha! The Grinch simply said…:"
Grinch:
"[as his dog Max goes hiding under the bed] If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead."
Reader:
"[fade-out/fade-in to Max with a reindeer antlers on his forehead] So he took his dog, Max, and he took some black thread,
and he tied a big horn on the top of his head."
Grinch:
"[He is settled, but grasped when his antlers is too heavy for his dog to lay flat. non-verbally, he then saws four antlers: Three on the ground, one by him that took away from his hand, in order to have Max balance back up again.]"
Singer:
"♪You're a vile one,… Mr. Grinch
You have termites in your simile
You have all the tender sweetness
of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Gri-iii-inch!♪"
The Grinch:
"[non-verbal; He stops and grabs the Lou-Who's cane and sharpens the end up]"
Singer:
"♪Given the choice between the two of you,
I'd take the, um,… seasick crocodile!♪"
Grinch:
"[non-verbal, he used the cane like a billard to drop the oraments of the Lou-Who's tree with the bright red globe one. It rolls into out of the mousehole into the third bag]"
Max:
"[grunting as he, the Grinch's dog, carries the first three bags into the sleigh]"
the Grinch:
""I'll make a quick Santy-Claus hat and a coat!"
-the Grinch"
Reader:
"And when Cindy Lou-Who was in bed with her cup,
he crupt to the chimney and stuffed the tree up."
Reader:
"He did hear a sound rising over the snow.
It started in low… then it started to grow."
Grinch:
""Whatever I know..."

"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch. You're a really ARE a heal.

All the Whos down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot,
but the Grinch… who lived just north of Whoville, did not.
The Grinch hated Christmas - the whole Christmas season.
Oh, please don't ask why, no one quite knows the reason.
It could be, perhaps, that his shoes are too tight."
Grinch:
"One thing I can't stand is the noise, noise, noise, noise!
