My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, or simply known as Equestria Girls, is a product line of fashion dolls and media franchise launched in 2013 by American toy company Hasbro, as a spin-off of the Friendship Is Magic television series. Equestria Girls focuses on the main characters from the 2010 series, re-envisioned as human teenagers attending high school. It was later adapted into a webseries (known as Better Together) distributed by Allspark and aired on YouTube from November 17, 2017 to June 23, 2020, lasting 70 short episodes across two seasons. In March 2021, writer and story editor Nick Confalone revealed that the writing crew had plans for a third season also well as a proper ending for the series, but those plans were rejected by Hasbro.
