Tamagon the Counselor (かいけつタマゴン Kaiketsu Tamagon) is one of two Tatsunoko Production's short-form anime program produced in the 1970s. Tamagon is a cute monster who acts as a counselor to those in trouble and asks only for eggs as payment. However, despite his innocent attempts, his advice usually ends in total failure with his irate clients chasing him. Tamagon has been one of many characters to be recognized by Tatsunoko because of its colorful and bubbly appearance, despite its other show Hyppo and Thomas (Kabatotto) having more shorts.
