Fish Police

Fish Police, based upon the comic book created by Steve Moncuse, featured John Ritter as the voice of Inspector Gil. Set in Fish City, all the characters were marine life. Other principal voices included Ed Asner as Chief Abalone, JoBeth Williams as Angel, and Megan Mullally as Pearl the waitress. Incidental voices included Jonathon Winters, Hector Elizondo, Georgia Brown, Buddy Hackett, Robert Guillaume, and Tim Curry. A Hanna-Barbera production. 6 episodes were produced, with the first three aired in a primetime competition with 'The Simpsons' - and the other three remaining unaired.

Narrator: "if New York is the Melting Pot, Then Fish City can only be Described as the Hooliabase. Trust Me, Being a Good Cop in a Bad Town Can Be Murder. AHH!!!, Bang! See what did I tell ya?"
Inspector Gil: "Pearl, Honey!, Sweety!, Doll!, Babe!, You Know How I Feel About You."
Inspector Gil: "Well Well, if it isn't Mussels Marinara. How's My Favorite Brain Doner?"
Mussels Marinara: "Aww, Your Favorite? Aww Gil, You Move Me!"
Inspector Gil: "That's Me Inspector Gil. No! No! Over Here. I Said Inspector Gil!"
Inspector Gil: "How does he do that?"
Inspector Gil: "am I the only one around here that thinks Angel isn't Guilty?"
