The Princess Diaries

Release: July 29, 2001

Unpopular high-school student Mia Thermopolis is begging for a change in her life that will bring her something exciting. One day her estranged paternal grandmother, Clarisse tells her that she is the next heir in line for the European Kingdom of Genovia. Mia now has three weeks to change her looks, behavior, and fashion sense to be a princess, but she does not necessarily have to accept the role and isn't sure she is ready to give up the life she is so used to.
