I only owned C1 and CTR...and I LOVED THE GAMES TO DEATH. I'd seriously played them every chance that I got. The other games that were out (non Crash games) seemed to complicated for my little mind to take, but with the Crash games, you actually follow a PATH, LOL.

My favorite to least favorite:
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
These are the only Crash games I own (or played). I never got into other Crash games like Crash Team Racing or Crash Bash.

How come no one seemed to like Crash: Twinsanity?
It wasn't as good as the ones on PS1, but it was still alright.

Crash Team racing is my fave. Most of the Crash Bandicoot characters are playable. I unlocked most of them. Crash Nitro kart was good too but I wished they used more older characters. It was great to see Crunch and Tiny (my fave characters) in that game. Tag Team Racing had excellent gameplay. Twinsanity was the best platform. Notice they poked fun at wrath of cortex. Apperently that was a flop.
the Crash games actually made by Naughty dog. After that, they all sucked IMO.

I LOVE CTR, I'd play it all day everyday. My nephew just recently broke it by stepping on it. I was miffed.

Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 were my favourite games, especially CB2 with the 'Crash Dash' levels.
