These are games that came out strictly on computers and never on consoles (handhelds included). These are some out of the top of my head:

I was going to include Rescue on Fractalus, but turns out that there was an Atari 5200 version made. If you remember any PC game from those days, please post them.

Shamus was re-released by Vatical Entertainment in 2000 for the Gameboy Color. Seeing I couldn't find a video of the game on Youtube, here's the link to the GameFAQs page on the game itself:

And here is the box art for that port:

Below the Root. My neighbor had this on Commodore 64/128 (can't recall which one). Took forever to boot up but what did we know in 1988?

There was also a text game called Road Wars or something similar; you had to build up your fleet of vehicles, steal gas, etc. Very cool but I can't find any links.

Wasteland, a late-80s game that inspired the Fallout series.

Wasteland 2 is being made and the creator (who had to use the Kickstarter program to get the funds to develop it) said it'll be PC-only. So HA! you lazy console brats! :D

Abuse,Halloween Harry,Sango Fighter,BioForge,Bio Menace !!!,and a certain shmup which i can't seem to remember the name of...it was a horizontal shmup..the menu screen was in a semy 3d font, the mouse pointer was a gold arrow slightly tilted to the left and i also remember that there was a short cutscene after you selected your ship in which it flies through a tunnel and into space.I think it supported mouse only control.

Any of the Commander Keen games. I don't think they were ever released on any consoles, but they were always fun.
