Alrighty, im geting rather tired of my games...I enjoy em and what not..But here is the big deal!


I am tired of multiplayer games that dont have a continuing existance...

What I mean is, when everyone leaves, the game of course ends, everything resets, the stuff you got is stuff everyone else can get...There aint no real personalyzation..

In other words what I want is something like a MMRPG...Without the monthly fee.. If you cant think of one like that, how bout a game that is online play that is a RPG, where you can actualy customize your weps? (AND im not talking bout mods here..Im talking bout stock.)

Or a game thats like a MUD, only with graphics. (And NO a dungeon crawler dosnt apply.)

Im refurring to a game thats like Ancient Anguish only with 3d graphics, and im not talkin bout that online one that has lousy graphics. (I cant remember its name but boy was that boring...)

There use to be one back in the nintys where you played as a knight and it was in first person, so ya could say it was a First Person Sworder, instead of a shooter.lol Anyhow you could take your weapon to a blacksmith and he could forge it into several diffrent unique weps. Each one with its own propertys etc.. Was real fun, you had skills ya could master like learning to build a fire, building a house...etc..


I have yet to find ANY game that has any of those qualitys..

Maybe im asking for to much here?


If you can think of ANY game where atleast there is things you can aquire that everyone else cant, let me know... Im just tired of going into a game, and everyone looking like clones.lol "I got the such and such of such." And the other person says. "Yea I got that." Really brings a downer to the hour and a half plus of time ya spent geting that wep when everyone else seems ta have it to.lol Totalie rips the guts out of the fun factor... Dungeon Siege comes close since it has SO many variations of weps etc..But since everyone edits, and mods it to death, I am sick of it.

I have the HARDEST time finding a server thats legit these days, and when I do..LOW and behold a moder joins and the game of course crashes.. And NO passwording aint the answer cause then your stuck to a few loyal folks ya know, and when they leave your alone...

There rant over, PLEASE if you know of ANY good game, let me know!!


Oh and P.S: Im looking for a COMPUTER game not a console game..

I kind of have to agree with you. As of now, I don't have a answer for you. I'll PM though if I really hear of anything good. rottontomatoes is where i usually look for game reviews.

sounds like youre looking for the exact same thing im looking for. ... the same thing ive been looking for for about 10 years.

runescape is not the answer.

What about guild wars. Dont think you have to pay. Id say WoW but its $15 a month but thats not bad at all.

yeah, guild wars is free to play after you buy the game. maple story is a free mmorpg that i played with my roommates for a while, but its pretty repetitive until you get to level 30, and we didn't play much after that. there is some customization options in that you can get scrools to upgrade your weapons, and the better the scroll is the less likely it will actually work, but the grinding that you have to go through to level up really sucks.

i would be interested in finding a game that works like you said and doesn't suck though. you can search for free mmo's online and usually get quite a few of them, but the vast majority are usually still in testing, or aren't nearly as fun as they seem to be at first...

Well I just bought Guild Wars Night Fall, ITS A BLAST!

Most fun ive had in a game in a LONG time..

But it does lack some of the things I mentioned. IE: You can get hundreds of diffrent weapons that look diffrent..etc.. BUT there is very limited amount of armour.

And while each class has its own set abilitys, you cant be a true ranger IE: Survive totalie off your skills by making all your armour etc.. NOPE ya cant do that which means the Ranger class is just a glorified archer (YAWN!) thou its one of a few that can have a pet which is cool.

You can craft stuff and it is manditory for armour at the armour dealer.. (In a way that blows cause there aint nothing unique then..BUT what is cool is every class has its own variety of armour, in other words ya wont see a warrior in ranger armour, or vise versa. This is good and bad as some of the armour I see others using i would love to have.

I got a Ranger, and a Paragon at the moment. I also have a mesmere but im deleting it, that class is LOUSY! I mean it has some cool things but the negative so it (mainly how easy they die) cuts down the pro's. So im gonna try another race. And for my fourth character as well. Tell I find the right class that fits me, so far its Paragon and Ranger that I like equaly well...But who knows.

yea most online games that are actually online not bought in stores arnt all that great. Hmm what about downloading a torrent for say guild wars or something like that o u get the game for free and free to play? Just search at torrentbox.com

MU is a free MMRPG. You can be a swordsman, a wizard or an elf.

Ragnaarok Online is a monthly fee... No help.
