here's a quick thread, What are some of the most annoying bosses in video games? ones that had you so frustrated, that you almost snapped your controller in two.
Here's one that's irking me alot right now. The Joker in the NES Batman game. his Blaster that takes 3 damage to you immediately is annoying as is the lightning blot trick. no matter how hard i try, i have yet to beat him.

Oh I like this thread already, ummm lemme see... one to name on the top of my head would be Shadow Queen from PM2. God , was she hard but i dont think im the only one who struggled with her. Another one would be from Kirby Dreamland 3, the last boss Dark Matter!! I nearly went psycho trying to beat all 3 phases of this a hole! After 3 months I finally beat him.... er, it.

Yeah! The Joker was, and still is, one of those bosses I have yet to beat.

i've tried 2 strategies with the Joker.
One is getting close and punching like a loon with hopes of not getting it with Lightning.
and the other is FLairing batarangs wildly at him.
neither have worked as well as i had hoped.

Death on the 1st Castlevania for NES.

also, how about Sin from FFX? (yeah, the time when it takes 12 turns to beat him, or else the world ends.)
Granted, I've beaten him before, but damn it was frustrating.
In Star Fox Assault, the Aparoid Queen is pretty hard to beat, & even getting to her is frustratingly difficult for both my brother & I to do.

galamoth from symphony of the night! his hp was ungodly and i had to level up many a time just to beat him!
Bloody Malth (spelling?) from Ninja Gaiden is impossible to beat unless you have full health and a quick hand.
I don't know if anyone remembers, but, how bout Judge Doom on the Who Framed Roger Rabbit Game for NES? He absolutely sucked.

Oh my GOD, yes. I actually gave up and let my brother do it for me! He was working on it for DAYS! I know, I "cheated", but I was about to flip my wig!

ffx? i played it for awhile, but i just couldn't get past that stupid orb system. it takes even longer to strengthen your characters that way than using the plain old experience points system we've all known and loved

I've beaten him as well. But it took me a long time because of how he kept powering up so quickly. And his attacks took off a huge amount of energy.
Frustrating bosses? Hmm.
One I can think of is Bowser on Mario 64(fighting him for the last time).

Malth from Ninja Gaiden (already mentioned)
The second of the two Dr. Wily battles in Mega Man 7 (hardest Wily fight in all the Mega Man games)
The boss of the 3rd palace in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (blue Iron Knuckle on horse)
The Grim Reaper in both Castlevania 1 and 3 (in 3 he has two forms)

In MegaMan X series Sigma turned into a grim reaper that one was tuff.
Zodiac- Final Fantasy XII...I've been fighting him over and over for quite a while and its pissin me off!!
