How much effort do you put into your games?

Do you play till you just beat it?
Do you play just to get your characters to full power?
Do you play till you get 100% completion?(Finding the hidden weapons, fighting the extra bosses, all extra sidequests, everything)

Most games offer some replay value or allow you to go on some sidequests/extra missions that can offer hidden weapons, powers, etc. if you choose to accept it...many games offer the best ending if a perfect completion grade is made
and some games allow you to go on certain challenges such as fighting a hidden boss, but offer nothing special but the fact that you've accomplished a task so great that beating it is reward enough.

Many games offer these extra challenges RPG's are usually the ones to offer the most...so how much effort do you put into your games?

I like to play to 100% completion...

...which means I need to discover every secret.

depends. if i'm really itno the game, i'll try to complete it fully, if mildly then i'll only play to beat the main game.

i dont have the patients to finish a game 100%. i was gonna try to finish final fantasy 10 but after i got all the Al Bhed primers and completed everyones sphere grid i said "whats the point?" my chracters were badass enough to beat sin within seconds.:cool:

Oh yea, makes the game more challenging, especially of its an RPG, which usually take forever... depending on the game of course.:D

I pretty much just play for fun with no real goal in mind. I play it till I'm sick of it . If I beat it, great, if not then it probably wasn't fun enough to warrant wasting time finishing it.

before i even went to college, i had much time on my hands to do the sidequests in rpgs. whether it be the golden saucer battle arena or the minigames featured in the zelda series, i really enjoy playing them
