and i got a touch pad controller which is completely useless in my case but i heard u can use a genesis controller

for 20 bucks cant go wrong

Did you hear about the Genesis controllers working on the 2600 from the Angry Nintendo Nerd video were he's reviewing the Atari 5200 by any chance? I never even knew about that until I watched that video.

$20 is actually about what those go for on Ebay, unless you found an original model that has 6 switches on it, instead of 4.

thank god you didnt get a 5200 its bad for so many reasons. and yes a genesis controller will work. BUT only for a 2600 i dont think it works for anyother atari
