I can't believe I have wasted my money on this thing. It is so bad! I used it on Punch Out and the damned thing never worked properly. So I put it back in the box and left it there since.

For those of you who don't know what it is it's an accessory for the NES. It looks like a glove with a keyboard on it.




I love the Power Glove...it's so bad.

Anyone else have memories of this thing?

    That thing just LOOKS useless. I can't imagine how anyone could actually use it. :confused:

      I've heard this was a complete piece of junk. Maybe today Nintendo could have pulled it off, but back then I don't see how this thing could work. They even had this in the movie The Wizard.

        I guess some unlicensed adult games made for the NES could've been compatible with it! LOL

          that thing was such a waste it never worked you pretty much had to tape the damn thing to the tv just to keep it on truly one of the worst gaming peripherals

                      I remember Freddy Kruger using a power glove in one of the Nightmare on Elm street movies to kill a guy that was trapped in a video game.

                        Definitely, that's exactly what it reminded me of when I got my Wii. I love that system and it seems that the Wii-mote is influenced by the Power Glove's control scheme just a bit. If you look at the d-pad and where the "B" and "A" buttons are it looks very similar.

Call me crazy but I kind of liked Super Glove Ball back in the day. I never owned the Power Glove, my friend had one though. I only remember him using it a couple times too :).                                     My Power Glove is in my closet where it has been since I've moved. I'll take it out every once in a while just for comedy.

                                        Yes, I have an original first run gray light zapper.
                                        I also bought one of the later run ugly orange ones which I repained black, gray, and gave it a woodgrain grip.
