Although I didnt really have a problem with his blonde hair in Ocarnia of time because it was such a bloody good game I will always remember him with his original brown hair like in the cartoon.
Don't you remember? He got it dyed in Legend of Zelda: Hair Salon of Time

I never knew he had brown or blond hair. It always looked kind of ginger to me...Here he is in the appauling CD-i version of Legend of Zelda...
As much as I hate to admit it, I take the CD-i Link as being more accurate than the 80s cartoon version. I don't view the cartoon as (as the nerds call it) "canon" anyway. The Tri-force was wrong for starters and Ganon was brown in pig-man form. :D
What's the deal with Gannon/Ganon/Ganondorf anyway? I couldn't fully accept Ganondorf of Ocarina of Time as the Gannon and Ganon from the original NES games for a long time...

A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are my favourite Legend of Zelda games. But seeing Ganondorf as a red haired green troll for the first time was weird. He's since grown on me, I even have a figure of him on my pc :D

when you rescue the maiden from that water temple (the second dungeon) she makes refrences to ganondorf
I think there's one or two others that do too, but I'm not sure
also imo majora's mask sucked
Hmm. It's been a while since I've played through ALttP, but I probably don't plan to replay it.
Although I'm used to him with brown, and like the games where he has brown more, I'd say he makes a better blonde.
