eh, i find my friend is really beginning to pester me. about one year ago i sold my red mario kart ds system (with some games) to get a psp. i know it sounded stupid, but the new castlevania game really had me hyped, along with other great games in the psp library. so, the first day i brought it to my friends house, he says "psp's aren't so great you know." pfft i know there's been talk about the psp's battery. you just gotta turn down the brightness a little and make sure the wlan switch is off. but as the months have flown by, he's said the same thing over and over. "you REALLY gotta get a ds". it's not that i don't want one, i just don't have the time and money now to get one. i just wish he'd have some patience. i'll get one, he's just gotta learn to wait. have you guys had any friends who pestered you about this kind of thing?

not really, I've grown tired of hand-helds...

I've gotten a DS and only bought Super Mario and Tetris, and haven't bought any other games, been wanting a PSP as well cuz of the Metal Gear games and a few others, but i kinda gotten lazy for saving up for that so I've pretty much given up on hand-helds
My Ds hasn't been touched ever since I beat mario, i dunno i guess i lost interest in the hand-held area i know there are some awesome games out there but its just not in my taste anymore

these days the PSP actually sits on my shelf collecting dust, as I now drive to get to where I need/want to go :)

PSP is better, Homebrew can be handled better on it(I hate sayingt his because I love nintendo,but Nintendos handhelds havent been the same since the gameboy died)

Actually that's Bomberman Land Touch! with Wi-Fi, but you do need both, anyway.

Dude, you got to sit your friend down and give him an ultimatum:

"Talk about the DS one more time and I'll make you wish that you didn't."

Just make sure that he knows that you're serious. It all hinges on his belief that you will hurt him in some way so bad that he will wish he could turn back time and force himself to quit talking to you about the damn DS.

The secret is... you have to believe it yourself. Spot his weakness. Once you find it, whatever it is, make sure that you are prepared to expoit it. Once you have made certain that you will follow through with your threat, it no longer becomes difficult to make such talk. It will become routine.

You give him one stern talk in this matter, and you will never hear about the DS again... and if you do, well... then you take umbrage. You take extreme umbrage... and make sure not to leave prints.

That'll show that son of a bitch to talk to you about the DS again.

(tries not to laugh but does anyway) you should see the games he has. digimon, pokemon, and some games i've never heard of before. another reason why he wants me to get a ds again is to buy the same games that he has to play vs. modes. my god he's like a year older and he's still into digimon and pokemon... i grew out of those two a LONG time ago, like after pokemon crystal came around
