the console itself was the best home-fight based game machine

I remember the First Soul Calibur, it was the best

The Dreamcast was great. I never got to play one, but it had great games like Sonic Adventure, Samba De Amigo, Ready to Rumble Boxing, and Jet Set Radio.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and the best version of Tony Hawk 2 were awesome on that system.

I had quite a few games for it. It really was a great system.

              I still have mine somewhere.
It had the best sports games of its time.
NBA & NFL 2k were very rad.

I actually just bought a Dreamcast in the summer. I burnt all the best games for it and had a blast. Great system for its time. I think its better than the PS1 and possibly even the PS2. Heck, maybe even the N64.

i loved that too. the cool thing about the dreamcast is that it had this handheld thing that you put in the controller to transport your chao to (i think it was called a vmu). my chao was black with orange-red horns and i loved it to death. i always took my vmu to school and played mini-games with my chao under my desk

Got the system for Christmas '99 with Sonic Adventure, great times. Soul Calibur, NBA 2K, Ready to Rumble, House of the Dead 2 and, of course, Resident Evil: Code Veronica were just some the games I really enjoyed as well.

I want to import a game from Japan, but I don't know how the region-locking control works on the Dreamcast, however, I was able to play a home brew thing for it by burning it onto a CD, so I can't imagine it would be very strong... could somebody explain to me exactly how it works?
                                    Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!

                                      Pretty much for the Dreamcast.

                                      There ISN'T one.

I have a DC-X which is a disc you put in the Dreamcast, you wait for it to indicate it is ready then you open the lid and swap it out, like multi disc videogames when it is time to change over. You can try to find one of these or download something similar and burn it to disc like Utopia:

Haven't tried this but a simple search:
