I've been looking forward for him to review Virtual Boy for a while. I mean after all, he did review Atari 5200, Sega CD and the 32X. Why not Virtual Boy? Virtual Boy is the only Nintendo system that I never played though.
Also, one thing is that I'm glad they put the Kyle Justin rock intro on this video instead of using that Heavy Metal intro.

Well I can't see it because I'm at school, but is this the part when he really starts going downhill, or the part when he doesn't but everybody's expectations are so high they think he's changed when he hasn't?
For real... I LIKED Virtual Boy when it was out. But that's an even better reason to watch this. :-)

I was really disappointed by this review. Why do you ask? One time I watched Gametrailers' (The people who own the Nerd now.) Top 10 Worst Consoles list, and Virtual Boy was on it. It had me thinking that Gametrailers payed the Nerd extra to review the Virtual Boy because it was on their list! I'm saying this because I was one of the few people who actually played the Virtual Boy before this review, and to be honest, it really wasn't a bad system. I really hate it when people say that it hurts your eyes when you play it, because that's what killed the console, all those complaints from soccer moms. However, this all doesn't stop me from still wanting to get a Virtual Boy because I really enjoyed playing it when I had the chance.
With that, I only have one thing left to tell: Please play the games before you judge them.
(Pfft, the Nerd got his own information wrong. Nester's Funky Bowling wasn't Nester's only game. Hello, PilotWings 64?)

one of my friends has a Virtual Boy, got it when it first came out. Has ALL the games (not saying much really) he swears by that systme much like i swear by my Super Fmaicom.
That being said, I borrwed it from him for a week once, played all the games, didn't like it at all. It really was as bad as people said it was too me. The main problem I think, finding a comforatble way to play it.

TurboDuo, don't be such a fanboy. First off, he obviously had to play it for that review. Second, even though I personally enjoyed it myself, it really is a bad console that doesn't live up to most people's expectations. Honestly, it didn't fail just because of the soccer moms, it just wasn't a very popular concept, nor did it have a great library of games. Most people would just rather stick to their televisions of Game Boys to fulfill their need, but putting their whole eyesight into a screen is just so... awkward. And it can hurt your eyes and induce headaches, I know this from personal experience and my friends. Perhaps not too badly, but that's nothing you should have to experience when playing games for fun. Imagine watching the Porygon episode in a screen like that. ;)
Finally, Lark is Nester, but that's not a very well-known fact, and the difference between names could easily lead someone to think that, at most, he was simply inspired by Nester. Don't worry about that, Funky Bowling was the only video game that was directly centered around Nester and well-known for it.
