Hi

Do any of you Pokémon fans here know anything about a very rare glitch in Pokémon Blue Version I have come across just TWICE:

Sometimes, a Pokémon may evolve into a Pokémon it shouldn't automatically, or it may evolve into its evolved form instantly (after battle) , at an early level or even eliminating the need to use a stone.

I experienced it today for the second time EVER, with my Pikachu evolving into a Raichu just after a battle, and I didn't even use a Thunder Stone on it, nor did I even have one!

Once, back in 1999 (when I first played it) , After a battle, my Jigglypuff evolved into a Clefairy!

Anyone come across stuff like this in the game before?

Exact same thing happened to me back in the day. I remember it vividly as it really weirded me out at the time. I was outside of Celadon city with my pikachu and had just one a battle (think it was with a growlithe), when out of the blue it evolves into a Raichu. No Thunderstone or anything.

truth to be told, i've NEVER come across this glitch, but after evolving a pikachu, at least you could save a little cash since you didn't need the thunderstone...

I've... never even heard of this. Oo; Are you using any cheats or exploiting glitches? Considering how much I've played I don't understand how I could've missed it.That's a pretty sexy surprise. ;)

This glitch seems to be a big help in the game so you spend less money trying to evolve it.

yea but thunderstones arent very expensive and if you use a gameshark or action replay on the original games it messes up the cartridge for good cause i was playing my friends red version a couple months ago and in fuschia city right after i jumped off a cliff with my bike i drove into one of those tree things you cant cut down and went completely over it into an uncharted area af grass then the game froze about 15 seconds later
