I was wondering why the European and Japanesse Will Virtual Consoles have a exclusive consoles on their Wills and not the US VC.
I have come up with three ideas for a exclusive console for the American VC they are
Atari 2600
Gamboy
Sega Cd

I wonder if the hardware between japanese and european wiis are different from the US model. Probably not though.

well uhh snes is same hardware, so is NES except for a few pins relocated on the US model.
Yeah, but the model's shape, scheme, and overall design is much different, not to mention region-locking and stuff. By Gamecube, all the discs were the same size everywhere, fit in any Gamecube, etc. Still region-locking though, of course.
For some reason, I just can't see Atari 2600 coming to the Wii...

oh I see. I sorta stayed focus on the snes/nes era so I didn't notice.
And nobody here would know the msx since the entire system was never released here. However the commodore 64 was released here...
I could see the Sega CD being added. Game Boy would also be cool. I also wonder if the Virtual Boy would work.

yes we just get 3d glasses. There's just one problem. VIRTUAL BOY ISN'T POPULAR AT ALL
And there's a reason why most cd based games aren't available for virtual console downloads. Because they're like 300mb downloads. Where rom images aren't nearly as big
I think the MSX should be made available for the Wii Virtual Console in Holland, where it was as popular as the Spectrum was in the UK.

Here are the consoles I think should be added and some games to come with it:
Dreamcast
Games: Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Crazy Taxi, and Shemue
PS1
Games: Metal Gear Solid, and the PS1 Crash and Spyro games (a.k.a. the GOOD Crash and Spyro games)
That's about it.

I think both the Game Boy and the Sega CD would be able go in. Now for the Atari 2600 I'm not sure.
