Today I realized somthing. I was coming back from my grandparents house when i went to a gamecrazy.
first of all, i know some of Eb's prices. so i was looking at the preowned systems and i noticed they want 34 dollars for a GBA SP. EB wants 50! they want 20 dollars for a original GBA. EB wants 25.
There was a little kid standing in front of part of the display case so i didn't get to look there. when i was checking out, (all i bought was a worm light for my GBA, i didnt have much money on me) the kid had moved and holy crap. there it was. two Playstations, not PSOne's. in near perfect condition.
i then took another look at the case and i saw a GBC and a Game boy pocket. needless to say, i will going back there someday with a good amount of money and buying some nice retro things.
so in conclusion, what i disvovered today is that EB Gamestop is an overpriced retro gamer's hell. Gamecrazy is no heaven but it's a nice purgatory.
and to The Gamer, before you say "i love eb cuz day giv power to th players" remember i'm talking about retro systems and prices. not the fact someone doesn't card you. :roll:

fuck eb i have a whats known as the game exchange where i live and they have a gba sp for $25 so ill never go there again!
Yeah, Game Crazy seems to be a little better than Gamestop/EB. I generally hate all "corporate" used games stores. I've had nothing but bad experiences with them. There used to be some good locally owned used game stores in my town but the store they had closest to me closed down. With the mom-and-pop places, you can befriend the people that work there to the point to where they'll save stuff that comes in for you and give you discounts. =)

Plus, it pisses me off when you bring a used game in to sell and they'll only give you like 8 bucks for it. And you KNOW that if you sell it to them they're going to turn around and sell it for 40.

Game Crazy is definitely better than GameStop. They even have some NES games. (Well, at mine.)

The closest GameCrazy to me is about eight miles away, and just like every other video game chain, stopped selling older games. I think I'll stick to GameStop.

this one might have. i'm not sure. i only spent about 5 miniutes in there because my brother really wanted to go home. but i didnt see any NES/SNES carts(i didn't look though) what really stuck out in my mind were the playsations.

I've never even heard of GameCrazy... :( EB and GameStop are my only choices. It sucks. I'm gonna search up GameCrazy to see if they're any of them in Mississippi at all.

There's a few I think. But every Hollywood Video I've ever seen there was never such a store in sight.

Hmm.. Last time I went to my local gamecrazy it was no different than gamestop. I like them both, though.

ill never stop loving gamestop no matter what because theyre EVERYWHERE unlike gamecrazy, at least in the areas i go to and where i live.
BUT i did get Pikmin for 12 bucks. stop wants 24 for it :evil:
