i actually won the entire set of mario pez loose on eBay last night. the pop culture emporium by my house has a ridiculous amount of pez dispensers. definately in the 10,000s and so are sooo old. i guess there aren't many pez collectors in pittsburgh

My wife has hundreds of pez and her most prized one was one of the "footless" ones she got for like 35 bucks but we saw the same one at an antique store for 80 bucks.

i have 5000+ i have been collecting for years and years and years and years. my collection is partially displayed partially packed in boxes in my closet. hopefully one day, i can have an entire room dedicated to my pez collection. :D

i collect them too. i have most of the star wars ones. i wish i could get of the huey,dewey and louie ones and webbie from ducktales. because i have donald and daisy. i can;t remember it i have pluto. PEZ dispensers are so easy to collect because they're cheap/

i hate the candy too. i have an easter and valentine's pez dispenser that i bought at work, abd fior some reason albertson does not seem to enter the price into the computer so both times i had to have someone do a price override.

I have hundreds of Pezes. My favorite ones are the Winnie the Pooh set and the new Ice Age Pezes. I hate the candy! I have a whole box full of Pez candy and nobody wants to eat it.
So, with all the Pez collectors in here, I hope that some of you at least know the origin of Pez, yes?

Nope, Didn't it have something to do with being a candy for adults like a form of nicorette to wean people off smoking or something. Although that always sounded like a load of BS to me. :lol:

pez is an abbreviation for german word for pepermints pfefferminz. (i probably have that spelled wrong) it was originally created as somethibng for smokers to use when they were trying to stop.
