Dude, I found that on Ebay you can get huge lots of original Nintendo Power magazines for dirt cheap. There's one sale on there where you get issues 1-55, some of them still in the original packaging (the plastic wrap its sent in), and like 4 NES game guides/code books, basically name your price. I figure I could get a lot like this for around 70 bucks, S&H included.

I'm totally getting myself a set of old Nintendo Powers from Ebay.

I can't wait to look thru the issue when Super Mario 2 came out. I already have the one where Zelda 2 came out, and I was looking through it and looking at all the old ads on it, that shit was AWESOME. Remember how spacey they made all the pics of their controllers look?

I have several issues of Nintendo Power at home. I used to read that magazine religiously when I was younger. I loved the issues about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Mario Party games, and Yoshi's Story games. The magazines had great sections like the letters, the game reviews, the game strategy sections, etc. The magazine began to suck around the time Gamecube came out, and I stopped subscribing to it shortly thereafter.

The old magazine was AWESOME indeed. I wonder how the fans were able to draw the fanart so well? I mean, their drawings looked exactly like the character!

    Thanks for the tip.
