I've been sort of getting into these old horror movies on vhs. The 'big box' videos interest me the most right now. The artwork was pretty awesome on these earlier releases and the fact that all of them are out of production makes them somewhat collectable. Does anyone else find a guilty pleasure in these old horror videos?

Try finding "Fright Night" on DVD. For some gay reason it's only on VHS. What a buttload of dumb.

I heard that that movie is supposed to have the original library ghost from Ghostbusters in it (the scarier one that was never used). I'm not sure what my favorite movies would be cause I was never really into horror films much.

Fright Night is a fun movie. I used to hangout with Stephen Geophries (Evil Ed) when i was in high school.

kayvee, I know this got off topic, but I just wanted to add something to the Fright Night discussion. Sorry.

Anyway you don't have to go to Amazon to buy Fright Night, I bought it just before Halloween at Circuit City for $9.99

For pete's sake--Captain knows where to find Fright Night, people.

Also, there was no need to post 2 big-ass pictures of the cover art for Fright Night 1 and 2, vintagefantasy.

Yes! As a matter of fact, I just picked up an ultra rare copy of the Thriller Video release of Tales From the Darkside vol 3. Thriller Video was notorious for big boxes in the 80's!

Dude I just got this movie called "Mosquito". it dominates. I've seen it on Sci-Fi channel late at night but it is truly better unedited. worst special effects ever. also I've had "Robot Ninja" and "crash and Burn" two awful.....ly good movies from the late 80's early 90's.
Man, I got more so I dig some up and post again.

Fright night 2 is the better film.

I believe I have watched Mosquito before. It was surely edited though.

children shouldn't play with dead things. if your into zombie movies then this movie ranks as 1 of the best.
