Anyone remember these? They're still around and I have a 1965 Original Red one. They say the new balls are made with different chemicals which do not make them bounce as high as the originals.

    Yes I had some with trippy colors. Most of them ended up in the roofs/backyard of other peoples apartment buildings.

      Geez!! I had a whole mess of these as a kid. Such a cheap toy but so much fun. I think I may actually have a few of these babies lying around somewhere. Everyone has a super ball or two in their junk drawer. Talk about a toy with staying power. I still love them to this day.

        Superball mania broke out all over my elementary school in 1965 when these bad boys first hit the market. It didn't take long for many of them to end up stuck in a tree or the rain gutter of the next door neighbor's roof.

        But the highest toll taken happened at the teacher's desk where many a superball died an untimely death after confiscation.
        The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.
