Here is a retro show that everyone, i know who used to watch it, loved it.
"You can't do that on Television"

I've never seen this show before but I just checked out the galleries on that site and it seems more sexual then the books at a novelty store, there was pics of kids chained up in a dungeon with Sgt. Slaughter, kids tied down to a bed, and kids stuck in a toilet while adults watch sadistically. Seems you'd need to wear protection just to watch this show, no wonder it was cancelled.

One of my favorite shows when I was kid. Here's another link I've had for a while dedicated to the show. Has a "Where are they now" section, full episodes, games, and video clips. Great site.

I personally liked this show and really hate the fact that Nick has no rights to it, 'cept for eps where Alanis Moiresette (sp?) was a part of the cast, and she was only a part of it for like two or three eps.
The show was funny and amusing and, imo, way better than shows like All That.

I loved that show. I remember it being on at night before Danger Mouse. Does anyone remember the You Can't Do That On Television the Movie? It was a goofy space adventure thing. It was fun how they made all the adult characters really scummy. Remember the firing squad?
I went on a hunger strike in grade 7 so I could stay up late enough to watch YCDTOTV. It has held up well, I still like watching it now.

This show was before the golden age of Nick in the 80's it would come on right before or after Double Dare on Saturdays and everyday around 7pm on Nick. This was was great it was one of the first Nick shows along with Pinwheel.
I loved this show growing up. I can remember watching repeats of it on Saturday afternoons on nick during the early 90s, back when Nick had quality shows on all day, or in fact actually had a quality show compared to most of the crap they show now. Nick then was so good, Hey Dude, YCDTOTV, Wild and Crazy Kids, Welcome Freshman. But yeah YCDTOTV was definitely one of the best, I still get the theme playing in my head every so often.
I also remember watching this show on Nick. It used to come on just before the nightly local news on the big three networks, and my mom would always get home about halfway through YCDTOTV. She would have to watch it because we only had one TV at the time. She thought it ws disgusting, but of course that was part of the appeal for us.

It seemed like the main character/hostess was some dark haired girl named Christine/Christina for about three seasons. I had a thing for her. My favorite scenes were probably the firing squad scenes.
I hated Danger Mouse but always watched just because it came on after YCDTOT and I was too lazy to get up, walk across the room, and change the channel on the old rotary dial cable box.

This show was on somthing I would tell you what im talking about in great detail but :arrow: I dont think you can do that on retro junk lol

any time the message board there is great too called the locker room one of the writers of the show even posts there.
