That show was Amazing showed all the Problems most teens deal with
I remember wathcing it in Jr.High, one of the teachers would tape it and let us watch it on fridays. I think they still make/play it, I see it every once in awhile on the tv lineups but can't remember the channel probabley pax or something.

that show was the Bext School related show ever, until that Gay Movie Degrassi: Schools out
Oh I remember that it did pretty much blow, but degrassi is still cool. It's kinda like my highlander theory: the first onefuckin rocked, the second one blew and was written off as a joke and the third was redemption, kinda like degrassi

i never watched the original degrassi because it wasn't very acailable here in the us, and I was too young...
but I do watch degrassi:tng that comes on the N practically everyday and I love it

Although I don't watch The Next Generation on a regular basis, I happened to catch one episode where they were throwing like an alumni dance and all the original cast of Degrassi was on it. It was pretty good. It sort of tied up loose ends like what happened to Wheels, Lucy, Joey and Caitlin.
yeah they still show that...it was sad when jimmy got shot :(

well in that case, if you didnt already try not to watch Highlander 4 :p it ruined the highlander movies for me all together.
I don't count highlander 4 because they meshed the movies and shows together and made a cup of crap, plus I came up with this theory before that was ever thought up.

Degrassi is the bomb diggity yo. I remember the old episodes and I watch all the new The Next Generation ones. It's the original teen angst show

i definitely love degrassi, old and new. but the old ones definitely hold a special place in my heart. oh, how i love cheesy canadian television from the eighties. degrassi makes me so proud to be canadian!!

Back in the day, every once in awhile I caught an episode of Degrassi Jr. High now that show was cool. But the crap they play now on Noggin with the same name is garbage. Guess it just made more sense in the 80s. They should play it (the old episodes od degrassi jr. high) on another channel.

What are you talking about????? DTNG ROCKS!!!!!! DegrassiJH was good i watched rerun episodes.
I have a theory that all the people growing up when the older Degrassi aired loved it because it faced the problems that their generation faced... they grew to love and identify with the cast. Now there is Degrassi TNG which is aimed towards the new genaration(hence the name). Teenagers and preteens nowadays love and identify with that cast. So therefore, the older Degrassi generation will naturally not like TNG(of course this is not true of all people) because (a) It's not the same cast that they grew up loving and identifying with and (b) they are no longer are facing teenage problems...so plots and episodes can seem dramatic.... which by the way is what being a teenager is all about..DRAMA lol
