That show was the best game show that I've ever seen. I liked how they made that last challenge where kids would go into the video game type world and had to collect all those little things to advance to eventually get to the boss. I also liked how they did the video challenges and showed the games of that time period. I saw one person play the first Sonic and they had to get 40 rings, the funny thing is, is that they really sucked at it. But yeah, Nick Arcade, an instant classic. I've always wanted to see what was really on the inside of that game where the kids go in. As a matter of fact, I've always wanted to be on the show.

I watch this show on Nick Gas.. I didn’t like how much time they got to do the last challenge, because it was really hard and yet they got what like 60 secs to do it.. :x

haha, i just found this thread after starting a thread of my own about this show, not knowing that this one existed.. Nick Arcade was my favorite Nick game show ever, got up at 6 AM every Saturday & Sunday morning to wait for it to come on... and I came very close to meeting the host, Phil Moore, at a live Nickelodeon event once, sadly he went right back down when he came up towards my seat to pick audience members to participate.. I was soo bummed
that show still comes on... i still be tapeing that show! :D

Same here. One of my biggest memories of retro Nickelodeon would be from about maybe 1994-1996. My mom and I would watch Nick Arcade and Family Double Dare early on Sunday mornings before church.
I remember sometime in 1994 seeing GUTS and Nick Arcade on the road in my town. I got to see Mike O'Malley and Phil Moore in person. I didn't talk to them, but I saw them live without looking through a glass tube.

I LOVED Nick Arcade. I thought that was the best gameshow of it's time! I don't really think anybody would know this, but since im a HUGE sonic fan, there was this one episode of Nick Arcade when a kid chose to play Sonic 2 and it was the prototype. It was ALL messed up. :P
I wanted to be on Nick arcade so bad. I still think it would be cool.
It's a great show. Its still on actually on Nick GAS. Too bad its on at 3 am when Im usually sleeping. :evil:

Me too. And I also wanted to be on GUTS, Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple too. Nick's game shows all kicked ass!
well actually it was produced at the nickelodeon studios florida whitch its closed :cry: , but they can still do the gameshow but they need to find the studio to use first

I remember thinking Nick Arcade was the best show God ever created. I used to watch it all the time and my friends would reenact the challenges at the end of the game. And i remember they would play Sonic and the host would say Robotnik funny. *Sigh* I cant wait till we get Dish Network so I can see this show again! *Lisa*

NICK ACRADE kicked ass I love that show I been watching snice it debuted on Nick in 1991.

You know, VCRs usually come with a timer that you can use to set it to turn on and record shows. If you have a Tivo or Replay TV, it's even easier...
You're right; I forgot about that. I can use TiVo or DVR or smth to record Nicktoons I like and such :D
