The Original Sunday Mornings had it all
Animaniacs
Pinky and The Brain(even when Elmyra Joined!)
Freakazoid
Earthworm Jim

Later on they messed it up in my opinion by canceling all of them because they all didn't have educational value ( which is also why they added all those funny state songs and such on Animaniacs and Tiny Toons which is another show that was canceled for the same reasons).Yet for some reason the put on alot of crappy cartoons (except for Hysteria) like Range Rovers and Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries. I guess the world or some parents with no humor weren't ready for smart , some jokes go over your head , weird humor like the aforementions shows had. Man I miss those days. Don't you?

Kids WB was part of my childhood Saturday mornings and weekday afterschool rituals. It just had some kickass toons that aired right when I got home from school. I remember everyday hurrying home to catch Animaniacs, then Pinky and the Brian, Freakazoid and Earthworm Jim. They also used to show the Looney Tunes. They just dont make cartoons like those anymore. Kids WB used to rule. That is until Pokemon came along, and then BOOM everything disappeared.

They went from Animaniacs to showing Pokemon and whatever all the freakin time and its still that way today. Although I dont watch it, Kids WB on the weekdays is no more starting Jan 2006, so theres gonna be no more afternoon toons on network TV, showing that times really have changed.

The first 3 shows you listed were all originally part of Animaniac's, thats why it has top be a top 5 morning cartoon ever. The humour was just too great.

          9:00-9:30:darkwing duck

Was A!, P&B, Freakazoid & EWJ the origional Kids WB lineup when it came on the air? I think it was... I didn't know Frakazoid was a spinoff of Animaniacs. I only know P&B was.
I never much cared for Pinky, Elmira and the Brain. Elmira was my least favorite character of the Tiny Toons line-up. I did however like series referral to eachother; IE Animaniacs would have Wakko whistling the Tiny Toons theme, then Freakazoid would have the Warners run by or something.

Freakazoid is very similar to Animaniacs but didnt originate from there. Although he did make an appearance on an episode of Animaniacs and vice versa. Paul Rugg who directed and voiced Freakazoid also played Mr. Director on Animaniacs and directed some of the show too. So they're from the same people but not the same show.

And I know Animaniacs was on Fox Kids first, and I'm pretty sure Earthworm Jim was as well. It was only right that Animaniacs was shown on Kids WB too since they lived in the Warner Tower and all that.

good call. The tiny tunes were my favorite back then with elmyra, babs, buster, plucky, the dodo, the pig, the homeless cat...

Animaniacs were excellent to, espacially the pigeon who spoof the godfather and pinky and the brain.

i reallly laugh at these parent who say that these cartoon are not educationnal.

1 thing you got to know about cartoon and yourself has a parent.
A cartoon is entertainment, even if educationnal cartoon exist, a cartoon first intention is to entertain not educate. The people who are suppose to educate the kids are the parents not WB or any cartoon.

                2 thing about WB cartoon
WB cartoon are full of reference with history, novels and movies.
WB cartoon is the only cartoon compagny that did some political revendication in World war two. I recommend you rent war cartoon you will see daffy duck slapping Adolf Hitler strait in is face.

hmm, wow, I so agree on the pokemon thing. I have been saying that for about two years now, and all my friends claim I exaggerate and all. i don't know if tvshows have gotten worse, or that dubbing and editing just screw them up. I just know I used to be a tvholic, and in less than 2 years, I've gone back to watching 2 hours a week at the most! There's just nothing left anymore that interests me. Mind you, I did enjoy season 1 and 2 of pokemon. Allthough they contained a few episodes that attacked pokemon's very own essence, they also had some episodes that really made me feel there was a immense world filled with pokemon and mystery (like ho-oh appearance in episode 1, before it became an official pokemon). Too bad the show started to be too long, too hero-focused, too obvious etc.

Educational value destroyed good tv. I remember when I was young, everytime my parents caught me watching tv, they told me to go read a book. Why? Becoz books are good for you. They never could find arguments, or even tried. Books were educational and good for me, tvshows weren't. All it led to was that I hate reading now, which is a shame. Entertainment doesn't have to be educational (all though I indeed learned a lot from old tv, like English for example), it just has to be fun.
If anyone can help me get my hands on King Arthur and the Knights of Justice episodes (other than the first five which were released on DVD way back in 2004), please contact me (PM). I really want to see this show again.
