Hey. I only vaguely remember this show from when I was...well, probably a toddler. And it was probably even an old show then. I think it had something to do with a magic crayon. And a segment of the theme song went, "My name is Simon, and the things I draw come true." I seem to remember the kid having an accent of some sort.

And does anybody remember The Friendly Giant? Man, I loved that show. I found out later that the show was cancelled about 10 years before I first saw it, but still, it was a great show. I remember every time Rusty the Rooster popped out, he scared the jeebus out of me and I had to leave the room until he was gone. haha :)

And now, for the least descriptive of all...I remember when I was about 2 or 3, I was sitting watching TV late at night with my dad, and this Henson show came on. (I am very damned sure it was a Henson show) And basically what I remember about it was this old scary man playing some depressing and scary organ songs and this other old man walks in screaming with blood all over his hands, or something like that. And that's probably around when my dad changed the channel. I'm sorry for the lack of help, but that's all I remember. It might have been the Ghost of Faffner Hall, or maybe the Storyteller. I dunno.

ANYONE with ANY help about finding ANY information on ANY of these shows will be much appreciated. :D

It was 'Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings'. He had an english accent (it was produced in England originally) and seen in America on...it was either a segment on Captain Kangaroo or the Electric Company, I forget which.

Mike Meyers (aka Austin Powers) did a take-off of the show in several skits on Saturday Night Live in the early-to-mid 90s.

I don't have a guess as to what the last show you mention was.

Simon was on Pinwheel on Nickelodeon. You can see a clip of it here http://www.mystiesplace.com/Pinwheel/media/videos.htm

Yep, I remember Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings and The Friendly Giant. We used to watch Friendly Giant all the time when my sister and I were kids. It was a fifteen minute long show that came on just before Mr. Dressup. We'd watch it and then watch Mr. Dressup. Only seems like yesterday. :)
